Daniel McNamara has assisted clients in achieving countless successes in his nearly 20 years at Cassidy & Associates and is truly an expert at navigating the Congressional legislative process. Whether the client’s interests lie in commerce, transportation, infrastructure or otherwise, Mr. McNamara will locate and pinpoint a viable opportunity, develop a strategy for pursuing it, and execute that strategy, with an outstanding degree of success for our clients. He has secured funding and advanced the policy agendas of state and local governments and corporations alike throughout his tenure at Cassidy, and continues to do so every day.
Prior to beginning employment at Cassidy in 1989, Mr. McNamara served for fourteen years as an aide to Senators Hubert H. Humphrey and Muriel Humprey, and as a key advisor to U.S. Senator Dave Durenberger (R-MN), where he was responsible for issues pending before the Senate Budget, Appropriations, Commerce, Public Works and Agriculture Committees. During his tenure with Senator Durenberger, Mr. McNamara played an integral role in shaping critical transportation and infrastructure legislation for both policy issues and Congressional appropriations. The expertise Mr. McNamara brings to bear on behalf of clients stems largely from his time as a Congressional insider working on the cutting edge of Senate operations and with essential lawmakers from across the country.
Mr. McNamara graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park.
