Gallup: Voters Less Optimistic Obama Can Achieve Goals
According to recent Gallup data, one year after his election, voters are less optimistic that President Obama will be able to achieve his key goals.
However, a majority of Americans still believe Obama will be able to achieve four major goals: increase respect for America abroad, keep the U.S. safe from terrorism, bring troops home from Iraq, and reduce unemployment.
Update: The Bureau of Labor of Statistics now reports that the unemployment rate rose to 10.2 percent in October, the first time unemployment has risen into double digits since 1983.
