Congrats to the Two Newest Members of Congress
Congratulations are in order for Representative-elect Bill Owens (D-N.Y.). Owens will replace John McHugh, who resigned the seat to become the Secretary of the Army.
Lt. Governor John Garamendi also won the special election in California’s 10 district to replace Ellen Tauscher, who took a position in the Obama State Department.
The two wins combine for a single seat pickup for the Democrats.
