Ethics,Transparency and Disclosure

We take ethics seriously as evidenced by Gerry Cassidy’s decision over twenty years ago to institute a mandatory ethics training program – long before it became mainstream.

Widely acknowledged as an early founder of the lobbying profession, Gerry believed that an unwavering focus on ethics the right thing to do and he knew it would create a stable foundation for a business to prosper.

Thirty-five years after our founding, Cassidy & Associates continues to require ethics training for all personnel which covers the substance and spirit of rules and guidelines governing governental contact, disclosure, and campaign finance.

  • We retain a full time General Counsel and our outside counsel is one of the foremost government ethics authorities in the country. As part of our service to clients, our General Counsel is happy to entertain general questions on ethics rules and provide referral to additional resources as needed.

  • As a subsidiary of a large multi-national corporation, we are cognizant of the requirements on many of our clients imposed by Sarbanes-Oxley and related corporate conduct rules. All our employees sign a Code of Conduct annually.

  • We follow the stringent disclosure rules required in the lobbying profession and we have been vocal supporters of transparency, disclosure, and the public financing of elections
