Vice President

Susann brings to her work a combination of planning, policy and political campaign experience combined with exceptional creativity and enthusiasm. She has extensive experience with coalitions and grass-roots campaigns, defense policy and appropriations, health and technology policy, and university and health system projects.

Known for her creative approach to client servicing, Susann is skilled in developing outside-of-the-box solutions for clients. She understands the business realities facing clients and is able to develop strategies and solutions that marry clients’ needs with political realities.

Susann developed her innovative approach to strategy formulation during her years working on state and national campaigns. At the Democratic National Committee, she worked with senior Party officials to create strategies, resolve problems and organize high-profile events. She used her creative talents to help manage the Platform Committees at three Democratic Conventions.

At the Department of Commerce, Susann turned her attention to policy issues. Susann took particular interest in the “digital divide” issue facing urban and rural communities, and used this experience to diversify into the world of technology.
