Janie Wise

At Cassidy & Associates Ms. Wise develops creative client strategies that embrace bipartisanship. She pursues solutions that are expedient, durable and remove uncertainty for client interests. Janie believes that effective stakeholder communication is the key to resolving today’s biggest challenges in energy, environment and climate.

Ms. Wise comes to Cassidy from the U.S. Department Energy where she served as a Congressional Affairs liaison under the Obama Administration. In this capacity Ms. Wise was responsible for monitoring federal energy policy, interacting with state and local government stakeholders and briefing lawmakers and their staff on DOE initiatives and priorities. Prior to DOE, Ms. Wise served on the House Committee on Science and Technology under Chairman Bart Gordon and Subcommittee Chairman Brian Baird, where she focused on policy issues in energy and environment research, development and demonstration.

A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Ms. Wise is a graduate of The University of the South, Magna Cum Laude and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at George Washington University.
